In a passage of the baton as Shania Twain her two-year residency in Las Vegas ends on December 13, expect the first of the two ads star to perform.

The first will involve a "superstar country with a myriad of No. 1 hits," and that's a guessing game triggering rumors about the possibility of several stars, including a major focus on a series of concerts by Taylor Swift Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.

"The identity will be revealed before Shania leaves town," I said when I checked into the rumors. "Shania will welcome her to the Coliseum."

The second star will be announced in early January. That announcement was scheduled in Los Angeles for the next two weeks, but now the music artist has decided he wants to travel to Las Vegas to do it in person and media interviews selection.

I had heard from reliable sources that despite some good news about the Battle husband Rene Angelil Celine cancer, there has been a retreat and she has decided that she needs the extra two months to continue caring for him.
